The Multiple Sclerosis Society is dedicated to supporting people with MS and securing the care they need in their everyday lives. It is also a major fundraiser for research into MS.

They also provide a dedicated helpline that is professionally managed by the national society and operated by national society personnel and home based volunteers. Predominantly the service offers a "listening ear" and provides guidance to people affected by MS.

The Solent MS Therapy Centre offers a range of therapies and support services to suit people who have MS. All available and just a phone call away. Gosport and Fareham Social Services
Shopmobility operates a hire scheme which provides manual and powered wheel chairs and scooters to anyone with a mobility difficulty. Check out their opening times, collection points and contact details on their websites.
Fareham Shopmobility now offer a Collect and Scoot Service. Their friendly driver will collect you from your door and transport you to Fareham Shopmobility where a scooter/powerchair will be waiting for you. He will also return you home afterwards, helping with your bags. All for a small fee depending on where you live. Call 01329 282929 for more information or to book this service.
Dial A Ride
Dial-a-Ride is an easy access, door-to-door transport service using specially adapted vehicles, equipped to carry passengers with or without wheelchairs. All our vehicles are fully accessible with a lift. Check out their website: Dial A Ride.

Healthwatch is the new independent consumer champion created to gather and represent the views of the public. It exists in two distinct forms - a local Healthwatch and Healthwatch England, at national level. The aim of local Healthwatch is to give citizens and communities a stronger voice to influence and challenge how health and social care services are provided within their locality. Diability Information and Advice Line
DIAL information and advice services are based throughout England and Wales. They provide information and advice to disabled people and others on all aspects of living with disability.
Diability Law Service
Disability Law Service has a person which is funded by the MS Society to help any MS sufferers with certain aspects of legal advice. There is a helpline 020 7791 9800. You normally leave your number and they ring you back.
